IRS Rollover Chart

Are you uncertain about whether funds may be rolled to another type of account?
We get these type of question all the time and sometime what you do not know can hurt you.

Recently the question was posed asking whether a SIMPLE IRA could be rolled to a Traditional IRA and commingled with other Traditional IRA funds.
In this instance, the answer is maybe and the IRS rollover chart is a great piece to reference.
If the SIMPLE IRA has been in place for 2 years then you can roll it to an IRA and it may be commingled with other Traditional IRA money.
If it hasn't been in place for two years it can't be rolled to a traditional IRA.

To help navigate this issue please refer to the IRS Chart included below.
